ADVANCED WOOD MODIFICATION TECHNOLOGY
Wood's naturally rigid cellulose structure offers inherent strength. HiWood uses advanced wood modification technology to enhance its properties, achieving superior strength, durability, and fire resistance, making HiWood an exceptionally versatile and high-performance material.
THERMOSET PREPREG TECHNOLOGY
HiWood employs advanced prepreg technology, offering highly efficient composite manufacturing. Through heating, the thermoset polymers flow and evenly penetrate the HiWood fiber paper, which subsequently solidifies into a high-performance composite. The thermoplastic prepreg offers recyclability as it can be repeatedly reshaped.

4. Manufacturing methods
COMPRESSION MOLDING
Place the HiWood Prepreg into the mold cavity, close the mold, and apply pressure while heating to allow the resin to flow and fill the cavity. After cooling, the cured product is easily demolded. This efficient and versatile process supports the mass production of high-precision, high-performance HiWood composite products.
AUTOCLAVE MOLDING
Trim the HiWood Prepreg to size, layer it on the mold, and compact it. Then, place it in a pressure chamber where it is formed under controlled heat and pressure, allowing the prepreg to melt. This method produces high-quality HiWood composite parts with precise tolerances and minimal void content, ensuring optimal mechanical performance.
HAND LAY-UP
HiWood Prepreg and HiWood Fiber Paper are suitable for this process. the HiWood materials are laid on the mold and heated to melt the prepreg, or resin is applied with brushes and rollers. This cost-effective method is versatile for producing various HiWood composite products, from small to large sizes.
VACCUM BAGGING
Lay the HiWood Prepreg onto the mold surface and cover it with a vacuum bag film. Apply vacuum pressure to remove trapped air and compact the layers. The assembly is then heated, typically in an oven, to cure the resin. This method enhances fiber-resin contact and reduces void content, resulting in strong, lightweight HiWood composite parts with consistent quality. Vacuum bagging is well-suited for complex geometries and medium-volume production.
